About the Role
As a Business Developer for Foodservice & OOH, you will be the face of Oatly in Berlin, driving the adoption of Oatly products in local businesses and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify exciting concepts in your region and acquire new foodservice and out-of-home customers for Oatly.
- Develop existing partnerships and support customers in maximizing the potential of our products.
- Present our products, conduct sales discussions, and implement new collaborations.
- Collaborate closely with brand, beverage, and sales teams to increase Oatly's visibility and relevance.
- Provide product training and practical know-how to customers regarding our products.
- Attend industry, coffee, and community events to establish Oatly as a fixture in the local scene.
- Plan and prioritize activities independently, keeping goals in focus.
- Document customer contacts, opportunities, and actions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market, consumer, and beverage trends to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- First-hand experience in the gastronomy, hospitality, coffee, or foodservice industry.
- Interest in sales and developing long-term partnerships from initial conversations.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with people; empathy is key.
- A good sense for cool third spaces, knowledge of city hotspots, and awareness of the latest coffee, food, and drink trends.
- Comfortable working non-traditionally, being on the move, and thriving in the local food scene.
- Ability to work independently and structured, and resilience against rejection.
- Living centrally in Berlin.
- Fluent in German and confident communication in English.
