About the Role

We are seeking a Conference & Events Coordinator to join our Regent’s Conferences & Events team. You will build relationships with external organisations and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality events, drive sales and profitability, and support the development of the event planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality standard of events across the campus, seeing events through from sale to execution.
  • Drive sales and profitability of the venue, maximizing income opportunities through corporate events and private functions.
  • Actively support the development of the event planning process.
  • Work alongside stakeholders and the client in running the actual event.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with ease.
  • Ability to work with a variety of different clients and colleagues.
  • Background of working within the Conference & Events industry.
  • Ability to utilize own initiative to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Weekend and evening work will be required.
  • Provide a current CV.
  • Provide a cover letter/statement outlining suitability for the role, referencing skills and experience against the person specification.

Salary/Compensations

  • £31,000 - £38,000 per annum
