About the Role

We are redefining the craft of heat pump solutions by building a highly automated, AI-driven ecosystem. We connect craftsmanship with intelligent software solutions, from intelligent deployment planning to a state-of-the-art customer portal. You will be the architect of our automation, building a team that thrives on complex architectures and leverages technology to scale operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop the customer portal for our heat pump customers, ensuring a first-class user experience.
• Integrate new systems and incrementally replace existing third-party systems.
• Develop and operate independent services and APIs that sustainably expand our product.
• Work on integrations around Salesforce to optimally map our business processes technically.
• Assist in building our observability and modern CI/CD processes, and actively shape our engineering platform.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in developing productive backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Experience developing and operating REST APIs, understanding scalable interfaces, authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and integrations.
• Experience integrating external systems, familiarity with webhooks, retry logic, and robust error handling.
• Ability to develop React or Next.js interfaces against your own APIs and willingness to contribute where the product needs it.
• Daily use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) and responsibility for generated code.
• Broad engineering mindset, comfortable working with diverse systems, quickly learning existing codebases, and taking responsibility for new topics.
• Independent work ethic, proactively addressing ambiguities, and asking the right questions.
• Product builder mindset, creating software with real customer value from idea to production.
• Generalist approach, comfortable working across system boundaries (backend, integrations, frontend).
• Ownership of solutions from development to go-live.
• AI as an integral part of modern software development.
