About the Role

This is a free 16-week training course designed to equip you with mid-level skills, followed by the potential for a role with one of our clients. The programme connects you with a professional role and provides a fresh, compelling career path within one of our esteemed partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD (GitOps) and Helm.
• Develop and optimise infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related automation tools.
• Support the containerisation and migration of legacy batch components into modern Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve build, deployment, and operational processes.
• Maintain and enhance version control, artifact registries, and pipeline integrations.
• Ensure alignment with AWS best practices for reliability, scalability, and security.
• Champion an automation-first culture, streamlining how engineering teams build, test, and deploy production software.
• Work at the intersection of development and operations—designing robust GitOps pipelines, modernising container deployments, and ensuring high platform reliability across hybrid cloud environments.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role using Python.
• Able to pass a technical assessment in Python, Java or Javascript.
• Commitment to complete a 16-week, part-time course to develop mid-level skills.
• Practical background building or maintaining automated delivery pipelines in a supportive team environment.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to public, private, or hybrid cloud environments (such as IBM Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
