About the Role
We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to safeguard the systems, R&D environments, and technology crucial to our quantum computing mission. This role focuses on implementing, operating, and enhancing security controls in a technical setting, rather than policy writing.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security events and alerts
- Enhance visibility through logging, monitoring, and SIEM platforms
- Secure Linux and Windows environments
- Support vulnerability management, patching, and remediation programs
- Implement and improve identity and access management controls
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to bolster security
- Assist with incident response investigations and follow-up actions
- Provide technical evidence and support for audits and assurance activities
- Help integrate practical security controls into engineering and operational workflows
Requirements
- Experience in IT security, security operations, infrastructure security, systems administration, or cyber security
- Hands-on experience supporting Linux and/or Windows environments
- Exposure to security monitoring, SIEM, logging, or alerting platforms
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening
- Understanding of identity and access management principles
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, cloud, networks, or endpoints
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
