About the Role
Mutinex is seeking a Customer Data Solutions Analyst to support data connections and build strong foundations in customer-facing data work. This role is ideal for someone early in their data career who enjoys the intersection of Enterprise customer partnership and hands-on data problem-solving. You will collaborate with experienced teammates, learn about modern data platforms, and assist large Enterprise customers in making their data accessible in a safe, repeatable, and useful manner.
Responsibilities
- Help Enterprise customers transition from manual data sharing to reliable, repeatable data flows by understanding their business context, data landscape, stakeholder needs, and security considerations.
- Identify practical and reliable methods for connecting customer data to Mutinex.
- Gather requirements, ask clarifying questions, and facilitate the data setup process in collaboration with customer data and IT teams, under the guidance of senior teammates.
- Understand data requirements for modeling and analysis from data scientists and translate these into clear customer requests.
- Monitor live customer data, investigate issues, and escalate or resolve problems systematically.
- Document successful processes, improve existing workflows, and contribute ideas to enhance customer data connection consistency during scaling.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data-focused role (e.g., analytics, data operations, technical support, solutions consulting, data engineering).
- Customer-facing or stakeholder-facing experience, with the ability to ask pertinent questions, explain technical concepts clearly, and fulfill commitments.
- Solid SQL foundations and comfort working with data.
- A curious and methodical approach to problem-solving, including investigating data issues, testing assumptions, and identifying root causes.
- Good judgment regarding data security and access, including secure credential handling and adhering to the principle of least privilege.
- A growth mindset with a desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and contribute to team process improvements.
