About the Role
GXO is seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers to join their Store to Home team in Croydon. This is a full-time, permanent role involving product delivery to customer premises.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer premises (room of choice) on a multidrop basis, averaging 16 drops off-peak and 24 drops in peak season.
- Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries.
- Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
- Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and customers receive correct products and delivery documentation.
- Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and communicate politely and courteously when issues arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries is preferable but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).
- Must be prepared to commute to Croydon (CR0 4YA) for the required shift pattern.

- £38,272.00 per year
- £18.40 per hour
- Overtime pay of £27.60 per hour
