About the Role

As a Project Manager for Facility Management, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and accepting all measures related to expert inspections, maintenance, and upkeep of technical and structural facilities for our large stores in the northern Lower Saxony/Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper tendering, awarding, coordination, and management of external trades and service providers.
• Serve as the interface between our stores, central specialist departments, authorities, architects, and planning offices.
• Maintain an overview of the condition of all technical facilities in the stores under your supervision and derive the annual investment and maintenance requirements for budget planning.
• Fulfill operator responsibility and comply with legal regulations and internal guidelines through structured documentation.
• Undertake management tasks for nationwide special projects.

Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering (Facility Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering) or a comparable qualification.
• Alternatively, completed vocational training as an electrician with further qualification as a technician or master.
• Professional experience in Facility Management, Building Management, and/or Building Services in property management.
• Experience with VOB/B and HOAI.
• Experience in budget creation is advantageous.
• Flexibility for regular business trips to approximately 15 large stores/depots in the Lower Saxony/Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein region.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is a fundamental requirement.
