About the Role

As a Senior Associate in Family Office within Private Tax, you'll play a vital role in delivering tax compliance and strategic planning services, working with clients across privately owned businesses, family offices, and philanthropic organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax filings and navigate complex tax compliance challenges to drive impactful results for clients.
  • Design innovative tax structures tailored to achieve clients' commercial goals.
  • Act as a trusted liaison with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), representing clients during engagements and managing their reporting obligations.
  • Deliver strategic guidance on acquiring new investments or business assets, enabling clients to make informed decisions for long-term success.
  • Support families with estate planning and generational wealth transfer to help secure their legacy.
  • Assist clients in advancing environmental, social, and charitable missions through private charities and philanthropic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ideally you hold a CA/CPA qualification, or be working towards completion.
  • A keen eye for accuracy and timeliness when it comes to tax compliance and reporting.
  • You're a strategic thinker who contributes to tax planning with real, tangible impact for clients.
