  • Lead customer-facing technical engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to AMD's key Channel partners.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) showcasing AMD EPYC and Instinct portfolio capabilities.
  • Reproduce complex customer issues on-site at AMD, developing and setting up test harnesses in hardware and software to collect low-level debug logs.
  • Drive root cause analysis in collaboration with internal engineering teams, packaging customer workloads and test cases for efficient internal debug.
  • Develop benchmarking frameworks and create TCO analyses to quantify AMD's competitive advantage for customers.
  • Act as issue coordinator, orchestrating internal debug activity and communicating status across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop scaffolding software and experimental frameworks to accelerate debug activities, both internally and externally.
  • Support partners with technical enablement, solution validation, and joint go-to-market engagements across globally distributed teams.
  • Deliver executive-level customer presentations and translate complex technical topics into business value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Server and/or GPU architecture, including integrating, debugging, and/or validating system components.
  • Experience with server software environments such as Operating systems (Windows, Linux), compilers, benchmarks, and targeted applications.
  • Experience developing and debugging low-level server-based applications or validating hardware components (CPU, GPU, Boards, Storage, etc.).
  • Solid technical foundation in CPU architecture, platform design, and the end-to-end product development and production process.
  • Hands-on experience with platform software including Linux/Windows operating systems, system BIOS, compilers, benchmarks, and validation applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplined technical problems involving cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in hardware-software co-debug; experience setting up and analyzing experiments to guide debug activities.
  • Experience supporting Channel partners and Component channel expertise through the full technical engagement lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of working independently and as part of a geographically distributed team.

Skills

  • HPC, AI/ML infrastructure, or data center workloads
  • AMD EPYC server platforms or Instinct GPU deployments
