Responsibilities
- Improving patient outcomes by assessing their conditions, setting personalised treatment goals, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Reporting directly to the Allied Health & Outpatient Services Manager.
- Collaborating with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of Dietitians, Social Workers and Therapy Assistants.
- Managing a diverse caseload across acute care and rehabilitation wards, as well as outpatient programs.
- Providing opportunities to develop skills across a wide range of settings and patient needs.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist is required.
- New Graduates are welcome to apply, though experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong empathy and a high level of emotional intelligence are essential.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging with patients, families, and team members are a must.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, with occasional evening and weekend work.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments.
