About the Role

As an Assistant People and Culture Manager, you will support the People and Culture Manager in all aspects of the People and Culture function, including talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, labor management, and organizational development. This role is crucial for enhancing organizational effectiveness and the employee experience, while upholding Four Seasons' culture and service standards. We expect you to become a core member of the People and Culture department in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate recruitment activities.
  • Develop recruitment channels and build strong relationships with potential candidates.
  • Design and facilitate learning and development programs.
  • Support succession planning initiatives across the hotel.
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on workplace-related matters.
  • Assist in addressing employee relations and labor-related issues.
  • Facilitate problem resolution and collaborate with various departments.
  • Promote and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support the daily operations of the People & Culture team.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Coordinate and facilitate team meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement events and activities.
  • Support and administer employee welfare and wellness programs.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Promote and strengthen the Four Seasons culture throughout the hotel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a Human Resources-related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience in the hotel industry.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in learning and development or talent management.
