About the Role
As the Technical Delivery Architect for Cortex Professional Services, you will be the definitive technical authority for our regional deployment team. You will define the "gold standard" for how Cortex platforms are deployed, translating high-level architectural visions into repeatable, actionable deployment methodologies for the consulting team to execute. You will act as the crucial technical bridge between our core delivery consultants and broader technical teams, owning the technical methodology and serving as the ultimate escalation point for complex deployment challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and govern technical blueprints and deployment standards across the Cortex and Cortex Cloud portfolios, with a major emphasis on Cortex XSIAM, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and premium quality.
- Serve as the primary technical conduit between pre-sales/STAs and post-sales delivery, translating strategic SOC transformation roadmaps into actionable deployment execution.
- Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for the consulting team, unblocking consultants facing advanced challenges such as custom parsers, complex API integrations, and XSIAM correlation engineering.
- Drive alignment with TAC, COE, and Product Management, relaying field feedback to influence product roadmaps and leveraging COE best practices to continuously improve local delivery standards.
- Lead technical enablement, mentoring, and QA for consultant deliverables. Upskill the broader team to handle modern, AI-driven SOC operations and cloud security upgrades, and convert any consultant downtime into focused technical initiatives, training, and process uplifts.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience deploying, architecting, and optimizing advanced SIEM, SOAR, and SOC technologies in large enterprise environments.
- Deep technical expertise in log parsing, normalization, enrichment, and detection engineering (expert knowledge of Cortex XSIAM, Cortex Cloud, XSOAR, XDR, or legacy platforms like Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
- Proven ability to design scalable technical methodologies and translate complex architectural concepts into step-by-step operational workflows.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, SQL) with experience designing API integrations and response playbooks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of acting as a senior escalation point for difficult technical challenges.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, capable of bridging gaps between consultants, architects, support, and product engineering.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or industry-recognized qualifications (CISSP, GIAC, SIEM vendor qualifications, etc.).
