About the Role
Drive launch, pricing, and reimbursement strategy for Regeneron's Japan hematology business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop life-changing medicines.
Responsibilities
- Lead market access strategy for the hematology portfolio across Japan
- Serve as the interface between global market access and the Japan affiliate
- Drive NHI pricing and reimbursement submissions, including HTA dossiers
- Execute price and HTA negotiations aligned to product strategy
- Monitor reimbursement policy changes and assess business impact
- Provide Japan-specific insights to shape value strategy and evidence plans
- Represent Japan in global access forums and launch readiness reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of in-country market access experience
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement systems, payer environments, cost comparator pricing methodology, and policy trends in Japan
- Experience developing pricing strategy and reimbursement approaches
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Business-level English and native-level Japanese
- Strong project and process management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and effectiveness in complex environments
- Hematology launch or inline experience preferred
- Proven negotiation experience with authorities in Japan preferred
- Health Technology Assessment (HTA) experience and negotiation experience in Japan preferred
