About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to help maintain the vibrant atmosphere and community focus of the Railway Hotel, a classic local pub known for its exceptional service and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and positive pub operations.
- Lead a team of hospitality professionals.
- Address and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Provide energetic and friendly service during shifts.
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual handling and lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Previous experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room operations, with some supervisory experience preferred.
- Confidence, pride, and strong people skills to represent the pub in the manager's absence.
- Current RSA, RCG, and ARCG certifications as required by state regulations.
- Willingness to learn, lead, and contribute to making the pub a top destination.
- Candidates will be required to complete Employee Due Diligence checks, potentially including a National Police Check.
