About the Role
Lightspeed Capital is seeking a Capital Account Manager to join their Capital Sales Team. This role involves managing a portfolio of merchants offered funding through Lightspeed Capital, driving business development, and promoting financial services to enable merchant growth.
Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote financial services.
- Provide high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position Lightspeed Capital.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify financial service opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize book of business growth.
- Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service.
- Coordinate with the regional leader for Account Management to maximize territory opportunities.
- Employ effective business development and relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide regular feedback and act as the merchant's advocate to business leaders.
- Understand and communicate the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances to merchants.
Requirements
- Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance.
- Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships internally and externally.
- Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships.
