About the Role

The Clinical Curriculum Specialist designs and maintains operational workflows for clinical curriculum delivery and assessment data management. This role contributes expertise to manage and develop processes, data collection, and reporting for student evaluations, program evaluation, and accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and maintains operational workflows for clinical curriculum delivery and clinical assessment data management.
  • Manages and develops processes, data collection, and reporting for student evaluations, program evaluation, and accreditation.
  • Provides problem-solving for OASIS data requests.
  • Develops standardized training materials for administrators and clerkship coordinators.
  • Manages specific requests for data reports within OASIS.
  • Provides high-level support to the Doctoring Program, Clinical Skills Clerkship (CSC), and clerkships.
  • Manages scrub training, dermatology training, and gyn/gu training.
  • Onboards and trains administrators and clerkship coordinators.
  • Ensures student clinical sites are well-resourced by managing student site credentialing and maintaining adequate clinical site capacity.
  • Ensures clinical faculty have faculty appointments.
  • Ensures Doctoring and clerkship OSCE accommodations are identified and communicated.
  • Provides back-up for clerkship shelf exam proctoring and various IT platforms.
  • Oversees the Doctoring Program’s fiscal health by managing budgets and inventory.
  • Reviews vendor contracts for policy compliance.
  • Handles all billing records and financial reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating and managing complex student assessment, evaluation, or scheduling systems (e.g OASIS, Shiftboard, LearningSpace, Canvas, Qualtrics or ExamSoft or similar preferable).
  • Direct experience working within a higher education setting, institutional infrastructure, or medical education program (Office of Medical Education) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience independently planning and executing large-scale, multi-stakeholder academic events or clinical training simulations (e.g., OSCEs, standardized patient sessions) is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to design, map out, and optimize operational workflows for faculty onboarding, student scheduling, and multi-specialty clinical sessions.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to liaise effectively between senior leadership, clinical faculty across multiple institutions, clinical affiliates, and a high volume of students.
  • Excellent computer and technological skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • A meticulous approach to managing sensitive student credentialing records, faculty academic appointments, and high-stakes testing accommodations while maintaining strict confidentiality and policy compliance.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize overlapping deadlines, and problem-solve system-level discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented while always keeping an eye toward the larger goal and demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
  • Criminal background and education check required.
