About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Blending Operator to join our team in Maroota. In this hands-on role, you'll operate our blending plant to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You'll monitor equipment, load and blend raw materials, and help keep production running safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll play an important role in maintaining product quality, meeting production targets and ensuring our site remains safe and environmentally responsible.

Responsibilities

Operate blending equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
Load, blend and dispatch finished products to meet production schedules.
Start up, monitor, adjust and shut down production equipment safely.
Monitor plant performance and identify any abnormal operating conditions.
Make process adjustments within authorised limits to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Move raw materials and finished products using a forklift and other plant equipment.
Report equipment faults, safety hazards and quality issues to the Site Manager or Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Participate in safety, quality and environmental initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Follow all workplace health and safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Requirements

A current Forklift Licence.
Current Driver's Licence.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to identify and report safety or quality issues.
A strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
The ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment.
Applicants must have unrestricted Australian work rights.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete background checks and a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
