About the Role
Villamar Law Group is seeking a motivated, professional, dependable, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Intake Paralegal to build a long-term career. Responsibilities
- Handle a heavy volume of client communication via telephone, email, text message, and in person.
- Conduct client intakes and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare and file Workers' Compensation forms (C-3, C-3.3, RFA-1, OC-400, OC-400.1, and other routine filings).
- Review files to ensure timely case progression.
- Monitor case status and identify outstanding issues.
- Obtain medical records, including hospital records.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and referral sources.
- Draft routine correspondence.
- Assist attorneys with case management and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic files.
- Supervise and train an assigned assistant once established in the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; official transcript must be brought to the interview.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with case management software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and professional telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
