About the Role
As a Reservationist at Water's Edge Inn and Old Forge Campground, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, handling reservations, ensuring smooth check-ins/check-outs, and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage all guest reservations, including taking bookings and ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs.
- Provide top-notch customer service to all guests, including warm welcomes, answering questions, and resolving concerns.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians and Head Housekeepers to ensure rooms and facilities are ready.
- Inform guests about policies, health, and safety procedures.
- Suggest improvements to processes and procedures.
- Onboard and train new team members.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with care and professionalism, finding solutions.
Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Comfortable working with reservation software, word processing, spreadsheets, and PCs.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanor.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in the lodging industry, reservations, and guest services is a plus, but not required.
