About the Role
As a Park Grounds & Guest Services Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the park's appearance and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This physically demanding role involves groundskeeping, guest assistance, and safety enforcement in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain park cleanliness, including paths, lawns, parking lots, and trash receptacles.
- Enforce ride safety policies and park rules.
- Assist guests with safety during breaks at water and amusement ride areas.
- Complete Shallow Water Rescue Training (SWAFR), CPR, and First Aid.
- Operate a golf cart for park maintenance and guest assistance.
- Answer guest questions and provide assistance, including taking photos.
- Support other departments as needed during peak times or staff shortages.
Requirements
- Ability to walk for long periods and stay on feet in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
- Must be well-groomed, self-disciplined, and adhere to uniform guidelines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people.
- Safety conscious and able to handle emergencies calmly.
