About the Role
Our Investment Banking and Capital Markets business provides comprehensive financial advisory and capital-raising services, including M&A and restructuring advice, supported by a robust debt and equity capital markets platform. We handle large, multi-dimensional cross-border, and regional transactions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review the analytical work of junior bankers to advance marketing and execution processes.
- Coordinate internally across products and with external parties on transactions.
- Lead diligence processes and manage deal-related risks.
- Act as a primary client contact.
- Issue final reports on client interactions and maintain ongoing communication with senior management.
Requirements
- Experience working with senior-level management while maintaining confidentiality.
- Leadership skills with the capacity for initiative and responsibility.
- Ability to create a positive, effective work environment conducive to open communications, initiative, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Established experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions, preferably in the Life Sciences space.
- Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching, preparing marketing materials, financial models, and deal execution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to concisely communicate concepts and defend their validity.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or life sciences is preferred.
- Series 79, 63 licensing preferred.
