About the Role

EY-ROAM is a leading provider of electricity market modelling services in Australia and New Zealand. Our role in the energy industry is to provide evidence-based insights, enabling our clients to make informed decisions amidst uncertainty and change. We are seeking a candidate with 2-3 years in the energy industry to join our team as a Senior Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Execution and delivery of 'fast response' services.
• Help clients understand the commercial quality of renewable energy and storage Projects across the NEM.
• Focus learning and development on key areas of interest in parallel with client engagements.

Requirements

• Experience in energy transactions, including preparing, supporting, or evaluating bids.
• Experience using PLEXOS software is advantageous.
• Tertiary education in a discipline such as engineering, mathematics, economics, physics, or computer science.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• High numeracy levels and the ability, or willingness to develop the ability, to manipulate and analyse large data sets efficiently.
• High computer literacy.
• Willingness and ability to learn a new programming language.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully convey meaningful insights to clients and colleagues.
