About the Company
- The Analytical Instruments Division is a significant division within Oxford Instruments, with development and manufacturing bases in High Wycombe, UK. It is a major contributor to the company's sales and is considered an important department internally. Given that two major electron microscope manufacturers are Japanese companies, Japan holds high importance for this division. As a global leader in the industry, the division offers a lineup of instruments with innovative features and holds a high market share in many countries.
- The division's products are used in almost all fields that research and manufacture materials, leading to installations in numerous research institutions and manufacturing companies. Our products are utilized in important research fields domestically, with research results published in prominent academic journals. Notably, our products contributed to the analysis of samples brought back by the Hayabusa2 mission.
- The division continuously releases innovative features. For example, it offers an instrument (EDS) capable of analyzing lithium (Li), which is gaining attention in the battery field. This was previously unachievable with conventional EDS analysis and was first realized with our division's instruments, contributing to the development of lithium-ion batteries and other technologies.
