About the Role
This vital role ensures the smooth scheduling and coordination of our theatre services, supporting our clinical teams and patient journey.
Responsibilities
- Entering theatre bookings accurately.
- Linking admissions within our Health Hub system.
- Checking theatre lists received from Doctor's rooms.
- Processing theatre changes and moves in Meditech.
- Liaising effectively with Doctor's rooms and theatre team members.
Requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Competency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- The ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
Skills
- Previous experience in a Theatre Booking role.
- Certificate in Medical Terminology.
- Experience using patient information systems such as Meditech.
- Experience with hospital bookings systems.
- Relevant health services experience.
