About the Role
CNAs at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation are responsible for performing personal care and assistance for our residents and patients.
Responsibilities
- Report changes in the resident's condition
- Assist with admission and discharge of patients
- Under the guidance of a licensed nurse, provide quality and compassionate care to the residents and patients
Requirements
- Current and valid NYS CNA certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; will hire newly certified CNAs
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
- Team player - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork
