About the Role
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic, hands-on care for patients, helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, eating, and using the restroom, while also monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to nurses and doctors. CNAs are essential for patient comfort, safety, and mobility.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with ADLs and working with the team to ensure appropriate resident care is provided
- Assisting at meals
- Following infection control and center policies
- Measuring and recording heights and weights, temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructed
- Reporting all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as practical
Requirements
- Current NYS CNA License
- 6 months of experience preferred
- Open to New Grads
- New Grads should have references from 2 externships
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proof of Vaccination Card
