About the Role

Diamond Packaging is seeking a full-time Printing General Worker for their Printing Department to supply presses with necessary materials and maintain an organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply presses with shop packets, printing plates, coater plates, paper, ink, coating, chemicals, and rags.
• Operate Aerator to aerate, jog, flip loads, and remove damaged sheets.
• Organize coating inventory and prepare empty barrels for recycling.
• Maintain an organized floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including computer inputs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, job tickets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to maintain good attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Reliability and dependability.
• Ability to work alone and organize area.
• Ability to decipher color variance.
• Must pass Color Blindness Ishihara Testing.
• Ability to stand constantly and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
