About the Role

This role is responsible for optimizing production planning, scheduling effectiveness, and data integrity within the Scheduling system and across the carton manufacturing workflow. The Production Strategy Analyst will serve as the system owner for scheduling, a backup scheduler when needed, and a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives. This position ensures alignment between customer demand, production capacity, materials, and operational execution, while improving On-Time Delivery (OTD), efficiency, and overall workflow performance.

Responsibilities

Optimize production planning, scheduling effectiveness, and data integrity within the Scheduling system and across the carton manufacturing workflow.
Serve as the system owner for scheduling.
Act as a backup scheduler when needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure alignment between customer demand, production capacity, materials, and operational execution.
Improve On-Time Delivery (OTD), efficiency, and overall workflow performance.

Requirements

Must have high school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations analysis.
Hands-on experience with Encore or similar ERP/scheduling systems required.

Skills

Proficiency in ERP system functionality and scheduling logic.
Strong Excel skills.
Understanding of press and finishing operations.
Understanding of tooling processes (cutting dies, embossing, stamping).
Understanding of material flow and production constraints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Continuous improvement mindset with a hands-on approach.
