About the Role

Provides general administrative project and/or program support for department or program areas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and performs daily tasks to ensure functioning of administrative office.
  • Assists in development/coordination of programs/projects.
  • Assists with monitoring expenditures and runs reports.
  • Performs online systems entry of documents or data involving accounts payable and purchasing.
  • Provides advising to students, staff, and faculty.
  • Plans logistics and provides administrative support for program courses, meetings and events.
  • Negotiates with vendors for events.
  • Oversees, troubleshoots and resolves special situations that arise during events.
  • Manages event budget.
  • Coordinates, manages and updates communications for school/department/center including verbal, written and electronic communications and websites.
  • Initiates/reviews drafts of various communications.
  • Provides general administrative support including scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Administrative experience (2 Years).
  • Ability to travel to various on and off campus locations.
  • Normal office environment.
  • Typically working at desk or table.
  • Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement.
  • Occasional lifting (25 lbs. or less).
  • Use of office equipment.

  • $19.29 - $29.91 / Hourly
