About the Role
SAI Academy is seeking a skilled and proactive academic support specialist to support student-athletes in a highly individualized academic setting. This role focuses on providing targeted instruction, identifying learning gaps, and ensuring students develop genuine subject mastery within a flexible and structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Support middle and high school students (STEM preferred) among other subject experience
- Monitor and guide student progress within digital curriculum platforms (IXL, assessments, SAT/ACT prep tools)
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction daily
- Design supplemental mini-lessons when gaps are identified
- Pivot between multiple subject levels as needed
- Maintain a focused, structured learning environment
- Track academic progress and collaborate with leadership
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of high school subjects (STEM preferred)
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students
- Ability to differentiate instruction across learning levels
- Proficiency with digital tools and Google Workspace
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
