About the Role

This position is responsible for the effective management and presentation of Creative Learning and other projects within the Children, Families and Creative Learning (CFCL) program. The role reports to the Creative Learning Manager, delivering a stimulating and diverse program through project scoping, maintenance of existing programs, effective project delivery, and developing industry and artistic relationships. The Producer will manage projects to successful completion, including generating budgets, modeling options, drafting contracts, and managing internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Effective management and presentation of Creative Learning and other projects within the Children, Families and Creative Learning (CFCL) program.
  • Deliver a stimulating and diverse program of work.

  • Produce projects both onsite and in schools.
  • Engage with best practice Creative Learning approaches.
  • Contribute specialist knowledge within the Learning team.
  • Articulate and develop a pedagogical practice using play, creative learning techniques, performing arts program, and the heritage, history and architectural inspiration of the building.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise of 5+ years in developing and delivering Creative Learning and Play projects for students, young audiences and families in a Creative Learning context.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and strong business and financial management skills and experience including developing and implementing creative learning briefs, project management and budgets, and evaluation processes.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and work with young people.
  • Existing Australian work rights.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check.
  • Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.

  • Base salary of $105,855 per annum plus 12% Superannuation Contributions
