About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer, you will be the central interface between cloud, hardware, and teams, ensuring our systems run smoothly, data is protected, and new technologies are integrated effectively.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for network, servers, cloud services, and local applications.
• Setup, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
• Support of MS SQL Servers, email, and backup systems.
• Continuous monitoring and performance optimization of the entire IT landscape.
• Procurement and management of hardware (laptops, accessories, routers, etc.).
• Support with the setup of local applications via remote maintenance or on-site.
• Technical point of contact for colleagues on all IT questions.
• Ensuring IT security and data protection.
• Testing and support of existing backup and recovery solutions.
• Documentation and optimization of security-relevant processes.
• Administration and optimization of AWS and Supabase environments.
• Integration and automation with tools like n8n, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Support in the further development of AI-based processes and applications.
• Creation of clear instructions and training materials.
• Training teams on systems, processes, and security best practices.
• Ensuring all colleagues stay technically up-to-date.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS SQL Server, Cloud Services, and network technology.
• Experience in monitoring, backup strategies, and system administration.
• Interest in IT trends, cloud technologies, and AI topics.
• Structured, reliable, and security-conscious way of working.
• Very good German language skills.
• Good English language skills.
• Certifications in Microsoft 365 or AWS (nice-to-have).
• Experience in coordinating IT support processes (nice-to-have).
