About the Role
This role supports Beatnik and its roster of artists across all areas of their work and careers, working closely with artists, external partners, and the wider Blue Raincoat Artists team.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and packages on behalf of Beatnik.
- Welcome artists and guests visiting the office and coordinate refreshments or lunches when required.
- Organise and maintain Dropbox folders, Google Drive files, shared documents, and spreadsheets.
- Maintain and update industry contact lists.
- Manage calendars for the Beatnik team and artist roster.
- Schedule in-person and virtual meetings, calls, interviews, and other appointments.
- Draft and manage professional email correspondence.
- Support the Manager across artist tours and other live activities, including maintaining budgets, coordinating bookings, advancing shows, and sourcing and confirming crew.
- Assist with the creative concepts and musical direction of tours and live performances.
- Coordinate artist merchandise, including managing design deadlines, communicating feedback and approvals, and overseeing production and logistics.
- Coordinate creative content teams for tours and live experiences.
- Attend artist shows and assist with on-site responsibilities, including merchandise sales when required.
- Work occasional evenings and weekends to support artist performances and events.
- Support the Manager with reviewing, scheduling, and booking interviews and promotional opportunities across the Beatnik roster.
- Attend interviews, press shoots, music video shoots, and other promotional activities when required.
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for promotional appearances.
- Assist the Manager with coordinating artist releases and ensuring final music, creative assets, and publicity information are delivered on time.
- Coordinate pre- and post-release social media plans.
- Attend creative shoots and provide support to the wider team when required.
- Coordinate social media activity across the artist roster, including organising weekly calls, distributing assets and copy, following up on deliverables, and posting content when required.
- Create, schedule, and distribute email campaigns and newsletters.
- Work with Motive Unknown to maintain and optimise artist websites, Linktree pages, and digital traffic.
- Support the development and execution of social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Schedule and book writing and recording sessions.
- Research and suggest potential collaborations.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records of creative and collaboration opportunities.
- Support creative content development, art direction, and editing when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in artist management, music, entertainment, or a similar support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident, personable, and comfortable building relationships at industry events.
- Proactive approach to developing new contacts and maintaining industry relationships.
- Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
Skills
- Strong general computer skills, including experience with Google Workspace or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, with an interest in developing knowledge of digital strategy and marketing.
- An understanding of art direction, editing, and creative content production.
