About the Role

This position involves the assessment and management of clients attending the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Calvary, Kogarah, supporting daily patient monitoring and management under the supervision of a Rehabilitation Specialist. Participation in the after-hours/on-call roster, including weekend ward rounds, is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and management of clients attending the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
  • Supporting the day-to-day monitoring & management of patients
  • Participation on the after-hours/on-call Calvary Hospital medical officer roster
  • Weekend ward rounds

Requirements

  • Unconditional Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
  • Minimum of at least two years supervised practice as an RMO
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
  • Pre-employment checks including reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, NDIS/WWCC/WWVP checks, and a health evaluation
  • Evidence of immunisation including influenza, tuberculosis screening, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus, varicella
