About the Role
Provide optimal service to patients, visitors, VMOs, and Allied Health professionals. Ensure open, two-way communication with colleagues, staff, patients, visitors, and other stakeholders. Maintain patient and staff confidentiality, employing effective and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills. This role includes one rostered day off per month, no weekends, and no night shifts, with on-call responsibilities for the specialty on some nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide optimal service to all customers including patients, visitors, VMOs and Allied Health professionals.
- Ensure open two-way communication is maintained with colleagues, staff, patients, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of patients and staff is maintained, and communication and interpersonal skills are effective and appropriate.
- On calls for this specialty on some nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Valid AHPRA registration.
- Bachelor's in nursing.
- Current/Previous VASCULAR AND CARDIAC scrub scout experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the necessary work rights.
