About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of software and services for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of large robot fleets across customer facilities. This role spans from data pipeline design to operator-facing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end services for robot fleet operation, including integration with customer systems, software update management, real-time fleet orchestration, robot onboarding, health monitoring, and data collection.
• Develop robust data pipelines for secure real-time streaming between robots, edge devices, and cloud services, resilient to connectivity issues.
• Implement on-robot software for secure, access-controlled teleoperation and assignment execution.
• Create intuitive, performant front-end web applications for robot operators, facility managers, and engineers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand operational requirements and propose solutions that minimize tailoring.
• Work closely with Field Operations, Information Systems, DevOps, MLOps, and Platform Software teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Experience developing data-intensive web applications backed by streaming data sources.
• Knowledge of front-end web development frameworks, such as React.
• Knowledge of real-time data pipelines and cloud databases.
• Ability to take ownership of a large, strategically important development project and drive its success.
• Willingness to support other teams during tight deadlines and problem-solving.
