About the Role

Royal Waste is seeking a safety-conscious Driver to operate garbage truck routes in the Bronx, ensuring the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste while providing reliable community service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste
• Perform regular heavy lifting and climb in and out of the truck throughout the shift
• Read route sheets and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher
• Conduct routine post- and pre-route inspections such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers when needed
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Clean driving record
• One year of local route driving experience

Salary/Compensations

• $30.00–$32.90 per hour
