About the Role
The Strategic Planning Sr. Manager plays a key role in shaping the future of our Behavioral Health business, partnering closely with senior leadership to define and execute strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable plans. This role offers broad exposure across the business, including product strategy, partnerships, and enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support development of the organization’s strategic direction, with a focus on growth, performance, and long-term value creation within Behavioral Health
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and advance strategic priorities, including preparing executive-ready materials and facilitating decision-making
- Evaluate new business opportunities (e.g., partnerships, new products, and strategic investments) through structured analysis and business case development
- Lead and support strategic initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes
- Synthesize insights across multiple sources (market trends, internal performance, and stakeholder perspectives) to identify opportunities and risks
- Assess competitive positioning and evolving industry dynamics to inform strategy and differentiation
- Conduct financial and operational analysis (e.g., revenue implications, cost drivers, utilization trends) to support key decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., clinical, product, network, operations) to drive alignment and deliver on strategic initiatives
- Contribute to a high-visibility portfolio of work with regular exposure to executive leadership
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, product, healthcare, or a related field
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage and execute across multiple priorities and workstreams
- Effective communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions and influence without authority
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare, with a preference for Behavioral Health
- Proficiency in financial analysis and business case development
