About the Role

AEMO is seeking interns for its Internship Talent Pool to fill future paid opportunities in Engineering, Analytics, and Digital roles over the next 12 months. This pool will be used for both part-time and summer internship formats, offering hands-on experience in the energy sector and a potential pathway to the AEMO Graduate Program.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience working on meaningful challenges in the energy sector.
• Build confidence and workplace capability in a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Gain exposure to Australia’s energy system, markets and operations through practical learning and guidance from industry experts.
• Participate in networking and development opportunities with peers, early careers participants and industry leaders.

Requirements

• Currently studying a relevant degree at an Australian university.
• Undergraduate students must have completed all first-year subjects (8 subjects).
• Postgraduate students must have completed one semester of study (4 subjects).
• Must have the right to work in Australia.
• Provide academic transcript (unofficial copy is fine) showing university, degree, name, and completed subjects.
