Responsibilities

  • Transform client requirements into effective and efficient operational plans.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of technical work produced by analysts and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Perform research and quantitative analyses, conduct studies, and lead workshops.
  • Present project results to senior management.
  • Prepare proposals and pursuits, including project methodologies, budgets, and schedules.
  • Leverage the knowledge and expertise of Deutsche Bahn’s railway subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Business Administration or similar.
  • At least 5 years of related experience with consulting for railway projects focusing on rail strategical transportation planning, urban planning, operations planning, or route management.
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience using MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analyses and quantitative models.
  • Passion for tackling complex challenges in the mobility and railway transportation sector.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills.
