About the Role

The role is for a Junior Trader on the #1 Greenwich ranked Nomura CLO Trading desk, housed within the Securitized Products business. The candidate filling this role should be highly motivated to learn the product and develop a skillset for market-making.

Responsibilities

  • Run bond analytics to price & trade CLO Debt & Equity, from Aaa-rated tranches down to unrated Equity.
  • Perform monthly marks for clients.
  • Perform marks for CLO repo/financing.
  • Maintain the BWIC calendar.
  • Work closely with customers including Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, & Banks.
  • Manage multiple tasks and move seamlessly across activities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Interact with both internal teams as well as external clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills required to interact with both internal teams as well as external clients
