About the Role

The Per Diem Echocardiograph Technologist is responsible for acquiring and interpreting various echocardiograms, completing worksheets, and performing necessary calculations in a timely manner. This role involves patient care for adult and geriatric populations, with an emphasis on leveraging past experiences and professional training to meet high standards.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and interpret m-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler and color Doppler echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Complete echo worksheets and perform all necessary calculations in a timely manner.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Utilize past experiences and professional training with geriatric and adult patients to meet standards.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain Current Registry status.
• Engage with video/digital presentations for training.
• Attend seminars and conferences for advanced technology and basic reinforcement.

Requirements

• At least 2 years as an Echocardiographer preferred.
