About the Role
Meta's Infrastructure organization builds and operates the systems that power everything we do. As a Business Operations professional supporting Network, Infrastructure Security, and Supply Planning and Capacity Ecosystems, you will work closely with leaders to help them grow, scale, and run the business effectively. You will support strategic initiatives ranging from business operations and planning, establishing objectives and key results, business operations reviews, to driving process improvements that will enable our teams to execute and innovate at speed.
Responsibilities
- Support operational excellence by identifying and executing processes that create efficiency, remove obstacles, and improve operational metrics, applying Lean methodologies as needed.
- Support strategic planning processes, establishing annual objectives, key results, and multi-year fiscal and resource plans.
- Support initiatives to optimize the organization while it scales, to manage its health and enhance its culture.
- Develop and manage communication, including business updates for internal and external engagements.
- Support relationships with cross-functional partners, understanding their needs, and ensuring our mechanisms and business processes drive higher levels of partnership and collaboration.
- Support special projects focused on site or organizational initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to establish and execute new processes as needed by the business.
- Support the closing of open headcount through partnership with the recruiting team and regular communication with hiring managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience with strategic and operational initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite, advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data sets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Experience defining and executing plans in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information (e.g., scoping projects, identifying dependencies, and adapting plans based on new data).
- Experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to solve business problems (e.g., financial modeling, data analysis, scenario planning).
