About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President within Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) US to support pipeline origination, deal structuring and execution, and management of the existing business book.

Responsibilities

  • Interact closely with Structured Credit and Banking Coverage teams in an intense and demanding environment.
  • Manage transaction origination and execution, including pitching, asset pricing and valuation.
  • Liaise with the Global Markets trading floor, clients, attorneys, and rating agencies.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of client marketing materials.
  • Gain exposure to a broad spectrum of asset classes and develop client relationships across corporate, fintech, and institutional clients.
  • Originate, structure, and market ABS.
  • Manage various aspects of securitization transactions, including evaluation of new transactions, due diligence, market research, financial analysis, and proposal of pitch ideas.
  • Engage with clients, the trading floor, attorneys, rating agencies, and insurance providers.
  • Develop transaction timelines and ensure the deal process stays on track.
  • Review and negotiate transaction documentation and conduct deal structuring.
  • Master rating agency frameworks and guide issuer clients through the rating process.
  • Develop and present marketing materials to solicit new transaction mandates.
  • Collaborate with the team to devise novel ideas and solutions for issuer funding requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret data affecting securitization programs, including price, yield, stability, investment risks, and economic influences.
  • Monitor technical market trends and the performance of industry participants.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Superior analytical aptitude
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Rigorous knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face-to-face and via telephone and email
  • Comfortable working with internal groups (banking coverage teams, trading desks, sales) and external constituents.
  • Willingness to train, mentor, and develop junior resources.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, demonstrate initiative, and pro-activeness with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
