About the Role

As a liaison between patients, physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare insurance providers, you will utilize your knowledge of patient education and medical insurance to connect with patients face-to-face and address their unique situations. This role offers an opportunity to thrive in an independent, goal-oriented setting and witness the positive impact on patients' lives daily.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare insurance providers.
  • Utilize knowledge of patient education and medical insurance.
  • Connect face-to-face with patients.
  • Address unique and sometimes difficult patient situations.
  • Intercept and respond energetically to the requests of multiple constituents.
  • Work on site at UMC.
  • Work Mon - Fri within an 8am - 5pm schedule not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Computer skills: Intermediate level - ability to learn new Hospital Systems.
  • Strong customer service skills in face-to-face interaction settings.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to serve our patients.
  • Ability to work Mon - Fri within a 8am - 5pm schedule not to exceed 40 hours per week.
