About the Role
As a liaison between patients, physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare insurance providers, you will utilize your knowledge of patient education and medical insurance to connect with patients face-to-face and address their unique situations. Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare insurance providers.
- Utilize knowledge of patient education and medical insurance.
- Connect face-to-face with patients.
- Address unique and sometimes difficult patient situations.
- Intercept and respond energetically to the requests of multiple constituents.
- Work on site at UMC.
- Work Mon - Fri within an 8am - 5pm schedule not to exceed 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Computer skills: Intermediate level - ability to learn new Hospital Systems.
- Strong customer service skills in face-to-face interaction settings.
- Strong work ethic and desire to serve our patients.
- Ability to work Mon - Fri within a 8am - 5pm schedule not to exceed 40 hours per week.
