Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks that support the overall operation and efficiency of the Cath Lab Department.
  • Provide pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure care assisting the physician during Cath procedures under fluoroscopy, and post-cath patient care.
  • Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab and perform post-catheterization hemostasis as needed.
  • Be aware of and responsive to the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of a diverse patient population.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Direct patient care experience required.
  • Completion of St. Francis Hospital Patient Care Associate or Cardiac Catheterization Lab Training and scrub Program preferred.
  • Completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course required.
