Responsibilities
- Perform tasks that support the overall operation and efficiency of the Cath Lab Department.
- Provide pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure care assisting the physician during Cath procedures under fluoroscopy, and post-cath patient care.
- Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab and perform post-catheterization hemostasis as needed.
- Be aware of and responsive to the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Direct patient care experience required.
- Completion of St. Francis Hospital Patient Care Associate or Cardiac Catheterization Lab Training and scrub Program preferred.
- Completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course required.
