About the Role
St. Francis is hiring experienced Patient Care Associates (Nursing Assistants) and those looking to become Nursing Assistants to join their team. Upon successful completion of this program, chosen applicants are awarded a role working at their facility in one of numerous specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities such as proper hygienic care (bathing, showering, shaving, etc.)
- Assist with hydration and nutrition
- Assist with ambulation and transportation of patients
- Engage in therapeutic communication
- Assist in emergency situations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Passion for patient care, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Agreement to a 1-year commitment period working at St. Francis Hospital upon successful completion of the training program
