About the Role
The Wealth Planning Analyst is a key member of the Global Family Office Wealth Planning Center, responsible for coordinating the creation and implementation of financial plans for the firm's Wealth Advisory divisions. This role involves in-depth data collection, analysis, and data entry to build strong financial plans, contributing to a broad knowledge base in financial planning, estate and gift taxes, philanthropy, insurance, income tax planning, and investment management. The analyst will collaborate within a team-centric approach to client service.
Responsibilities
- Gather extensive financial information to drive plan creation.
- Enter client information into planning software.
- Schedule and prepare materials for and participate in client meetings.
- Leverage financial data to identify possible solutions to meet client needs and goals.
- Engage specialists and partners to address client needs and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and update client information and plan changes on a consistent basis.
- Develop a broad understanding of all aspects of holistic financial planning, including income and estate and gift tax planning and charitable planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- CFP® designation preferred or the desire to obtain and/or maintain at least one firm approved designation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- eMoney experience preferred
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritize within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills on complex matters, both written and oral
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, root cause and effects and develop strategies to increase growth and mitigate risk.
- Ability to identify client needs and concerns, and articulate appropriate approach to align solutions to goals in a suitable and controlled way.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
