About the Role

We are seeking a senior Product Manager to own product shipping at Altro. Reporting to the COO, you will collaborate with the CEO and CTO to translate vision into product and ensure efficient, high-quality development. This is a senior role with founding-team energy, ideal for an experienced early-stage PM with strong pattern recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product execution against the founder-set roadmap, ensuring timely and appropriate delivery.
  • Own the two-sided marketplace experience, balancing needs of wellness partners and consumers.
  • Scope projects with technical depth, considering architecture, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Write PRDs, user stories, and technical specs, leveraging AI for drafting and analysis.
  • Utilize AI tools daily for research, customer call synthesis, competitive analysis, and more.
  • Partner with the CTO on technical decisions, including scope, architecture, and feasibility.
  • Engage regularly with customers (wellness operators, consumers, clinicians) for insights.
  • Manage sprints, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the design team on UX and product flow.
  • Coordinate with clinical ops, sales, and partnerships to align product priorities.
  • Define and track product metrics to measure performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including founding PM or early-stage PM experience at a fast-moving startup (not big tech).
  • Marketplace or e-commerce background with experience in two-sided models or transaction flows.
  • High EQ and business intuition, with the ability to read customers and teammates accurately.
  • AI-native, using AI tools daily and understanding their capabilities and limitations.
  • Technical depth, including the ability to read code, understand system design, and scope engineering work.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical conversations and debating architectural trade-offs.
  • Execution-focused with a drive for shipping products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and drive them to completion.
  • Pragmatic and comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and shipping MVPs.
  • Strong communication skills to translate between different stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving processes in an early-stage environment.
